一. 常接to do的搭配
（1）動詞+to do：
decide/determine, learn,
want, expect/ hope;
refuse, manage, wish, pretend;
offer, promise, choose, plan;
agree, ask/ beg, help等
記憶口訣：決心學會想希望，拒絕設法愿假裝；
主動答應選計劃，同意請求幫一幫。
（2）動詞+sb./sth. +to do：
如：want, get, wish, expect, ask, tell, order, command, beg, permit, help, advise, persuade, allow, prepare, cause, force, drive, forbid, encourage, call on, wait for, invite, teach, remind, request, prefer, train, warn等
注：特殊動詞常跟不帶to的不定式作賓補，但變為被動語態后，不定式的to不能省略。這類特殊動詞有：
記憶口訣：五看三使役：
see/look/watch/notice/observe, make/let/hav
二聽一感半幫助：hear/listen to, feel, (to) help
主動to字要離去，被動to字要回府。
（3）It形式主語
① It + be + 形容詞 + for/of ... + to do
It be + difficult/easy/important/impossible/necessary（修飾事情）... for sb. to do sth.
某人做某事是……的
It be + careless/clever/foolish/silly/stupid/kind/brave（修飾人）... of sb. to do sth.
某人做某事是……的
It is important for me to learn a foreign language.
It is kind of you to help me.
② It + be +名詞詞組 + to do
常用名詞詞組：a pity, a fact, a pity, a shame, an honour, a question
It’s a pity to leave so early.
③ It + takes (sb.)+ 時間（金錢）+ to do
It will take a whole day to get to the top of the mountain on foot. 步行將花費一整天時間到達山頂。
二. 常接doing的搭配
（1）動詞+doing：
consider, suggest/ advise, look forward to, excuse/ pardon;
admit, succeed in, delay/ put off;
avoid, miss, keep/ keep on, practice;
deny, finish, enjoy, appreciate;
forbid, imagine, risk; can’t help, mind, allow/ permit, escape等
記憶口訣：考慮建議盼原諒，承認成功要推遲。避免錯過繼續練，否認完成就欣賞。
禁止想象才冒險，不禁介意準逃亡。
（2）介詞+doing
無論是普通介詞還是含介詞的動詞短語，一般情況下要用doing作賓語。常見短語比如：
be used to (習慣于) + doing be accustomed to (習慣于) + doing
be opposed to (反對) + doing object to (反對) + doing
lead to (導致) + doing be devoted to (獻身于) + doing(devote oneself to doing)
stick to (堅持，堅守) + doing get down to (著手) + doing
pay attention to (注意) + doing reduce sb./sth.to (使淪為) + doing
look forward to (期待) + doing resort to(依靠，求助于) + doing
Mr. Smith gave up smoking according to his doctor’s advice.
Jealousy and anger usually lead to doing the wrong thing.
（3）固定短語句型
spend .../have difficulty + (in) doing 花費……/有困難做某事
They spend two hours in doing excise every day.
