一、與動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)結(jié)合起來考查
【考例】 Of the nineteen recognized polar bear sub populations, three are declining, six ______ (be) stable, one is increasing, and nine lack enough data. (2019年，全國(guó)卷Ⅰ)
【解析】根據(jù)three are declining可知，此處的數(shù)詞six作主語(yǔ)，指代前文中的polar bear sub populations，所以謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞應(yīng)該用復(fù)數(shù)，又因?yàn)檎w時(shí)態(tài)為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)，因此填are。
【高分技巧】主謂一致和動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)一起考查時(shí)，可以把動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)作為切入點(diǎn)，先判斷句子應(yīng)該使用的時(shí)態(tài)，再判斷謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的單復(fù)數(shù)。
二、利用“就近一致”原則考查
【考例】 Also, because cheer leading isn’t yet recognized as a sport by many schools, neither proper matting nor high enough ceilings _____ (provide) to ensure safety.
【解析】neither ... nor ... 連接兩個(gè)并列主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞與離其最近的一個(gè)主語(yǔ)在人稱和數(shù)上保持一致。provide和ceilings構(gòu)成被動(dòng)關(guān)系，因此填 are provided。
【高分技巧】考查主謂一致的“就近一致”原則的常用詞組有not only ... but also ...、 not ... but ...、 either ... or ...、neither ... nor ...等，這些詞組在連接并列主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的單復(fù)數(shù)要與離其最近的主語(yǔ)的單復(fù)數(shù)保持一致。
三、在主語(yǔ)后有短語(yǔ)、從句等插入語(yǔ)
【考例】 The musician along with his band members ______ (give) ten performances in the last three months. (2019年，江蘇卷)
【解析】 the musician作主語(yǔ)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞應(yīng)該用單數(shù)形式，而與 along with his band members無關(guān)，因此填 has given。
【高分技巧】“單數(shù)名詞或單數(shù)代詞 + but / besides / except / including / like / with / along with / as well as / rather than / such as / together with + 名詞或代詞”作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)。在分析題干時(shí)，要學(xué)會(huì)排除主語(yǔ)后的短語(yǔ)、從句等插入語(yǔ)的干擾，這樣才能提高答題的準(zhǔn)確率。
四、在倒裝句中考查主謂一致
【考例】 That’s because there ______ (be) a number of automation technologies that are about to become widely available for anyone to use.
【解析】句子主語(yǔ)為a number of automation technologies，中心詞為technologies，因此謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式 are。
