1、influential 有影響力的
This book was enormously influential. 這本書影響極大。
He was one of the most influential performers of modern jazz.他是最有影響力的現代爵士樂表演者之一。
When discussing influential modern artists, three names immediately come to mind.在討論現代有影響的藝術家時，一下子有三個名字出現在腦海中。
Chaplin was not just a genius, he was among the most influential figures in film history. 卓別林不僅是個天才，還是電影史上最有影響的人物之一。
publish articles in international journals 在國際期刊上發表多篇論文
He published many articles in international journals.他在國際期刊上發表了多篇論文。
2、required reading必讀書目
His textbooks were required reading.他寫的教材是必讀書目。
3、empathy/ˈempəθi/ 同理心
Having begun my life in a children's home, I have great empathy with the little ones. 在一家兒童福利院長大使我對這些小孩子們懷有深深的同感。
And empathy has different definitions but we can simply view it as the feeling that your pain matters to me.移情有幾個不同的定義,但用簡單的話來說就是,我不會對你的痛苦無動于衷。
4、insight 敏銳的洞察力
Her novel shows her keen insight into human character. 她的小說顯示出她對人性的敏銳洞察力。
He was a man of forceful character, with considerable insight and diplomatic skills. 他是個性格堅強的人，有著非凡的洞察力和交際手腕。
He is a writer of great insight 他是個有深刻洞察力的作家
be on the same wavelength 在相同的波長上;志趣相投
We could complete each other's sentences because we were on the same wavelength. 我們可以彼此把沒說完的句子接完整，因為我們志趣相投。
5、perfectionist/pəˈfekʃənɪst/完美主義者
He's a perfectionist and he procrastinates. 他是個完美主義者還會有拖延癥。
be perceptive 有洞察力的
He's perceptive and good at reading people. He understands people's emotional states and motivations. 他很有洞察力，擅于讀懂別人。他能理解人們的情緒狀態和動機。
keep a small circle of friends. 有個小的朋友圈
He tends to keep a small circle of friends and also a large number of aquaintances. 他有個自己小的朋友圈子。也有很多的熟人。
